.genuine.ED.XR6

My pride and joy is a genuine ED XR6. Dated Dec 1993, first registered April 1994. It was originally a company car, and it's driver bought out the lease to take full ownership. After a good stint as a family car, the XR became my 'upgrade' from my first car.

An advantage of being a second owner is that I have the full history of the car - including the original factory delivery receipt!

I have taken great pride in maintaining the XR to the highest standards - the interior, exterior, and the mechanics. I have endeavoured to keep everything looking as original as possible, with only minor visual upgrades.

My car has been displayed at the Sydney All Ford Day 2004, Canberra All Ford Day 2005 (including engine bay on display), and Sydney All Ford Day 2005. I intend to display it again at the Sydney All Ford Day 2006, if not sold prior.

The sad decision has been made to part with my pride and joy! I have 'upsized' to a station wagon because I have started competing in triathlon events, and need to lug my bike around everywhere with me! Plus it has the advantage of being able to sleep in the back at competitions. Unfotunately, I am already feeling the effect of the new petrol-guzzler on my wallet! I have been very lucky that the XR has almost the same fuel economy as my small car (my first car)!
